I’m continually amazed at the jetstream of human creativity. It’s just there, everywhere! Pictures, videos, sound, words – it’s constantly being produced and displayed on the web. Visiting blogs I know and seeing a sudden turn, or finding new voices almost daily – it’s a wonderland of delight.
The inner creator – this is the new media versus the old; one where there were gatekeepers in contol, and now the wild west of the web; where almost anything goes.
It’s not all rosy; there’s junk and gunk; people gaming the system. But like any flourishing ecosystem, there are the pesky weeds; we just have to make sure the gorgeous flowers shine ever more brightly; to network and be strong.
I thank you for reading!

Yes, yes , yes… I totally see it that way too! The web is one big stream of consciousness.

You’re right of course. For many of us the need to create is as important and irresistible as the need to eat and drink. It’s the need to have one little corner of the universe which is ours. To leave our thumb print.

Creating is a natural human impulse. the web is a great creative enabler for so many. we can create something which is meaningful for us and perhaps for others. Go forth and create!

Good piece. And you know, I also like the weeds in my garden. Not always but most of them try to balance the earth, they have me look at the structure of the ground. I would not have a clue how to interpret the “pesky weeds” Or may be they make you notice the gorgeous stuff more than you would normally notice them?

I know what you mean. I spent the day yesterday lost on youtube. I was amazed at the volume of creativity, ingenuity and divergence from the “norm” of everyday people. Something I think we really never got to see, in such volume, in the days before the internet. There certainly is a lot of junk out there but that makes the discovery of a brilliant tidbit all that much better.

Hey thanks. I was discouraged about all to weeds so I needed to be reminded about the flowers and vegetable out there. π

Thanks for you recent comment on my blog. I totally understand your frustration with getting little to no diggs. I have the odd feeling that the only diggs I am getting are from my mom π
good luck. Keep up the good work.

True.
In fact, blogging is convenient and mostly spontaneous; which brings out the best in us. π

That’s a refreshing read! I hear a lot about how much junk there is on the web and how blogging is being killed off by average joe’s outpourings. I’m glad you see some delights π
I love this phrase “the jetstream of human creativity”. π

I couldn’t agree more. For the most part, I love being part of this ongoing and neverending stream of collective conciousness!
